The Volkswagen Halle has been certified by the Green Globe environmental seal since 2012. Once a year, the Green Globe audit process checks and evaluates ecological, social and economic behaviour in terms of sustainability in companies in the event industry. We have also documented our commitment through the fairpflichtet sustainability code since 2013. We are a signatory to the Diversity Charter and support the diversity of a modern working world and society. We purchase pure green electricity from a 1/3 mix. By using energy-efficient event technology and time-controlled building technology, we consistently focus on energy-saving measures.

The Federal Environment Agency provides you as the organiser with a so-called CO2 calculator available to you as an event organiser. You can use this to check how much CO2 was produced during your event - and can develop measures for future events, e.g. with the help of our Sustainability Checklist, with which you can reduce CO2 consumption.
