House rules
The house rules define the rights and obligations of visitors during their stay in event areas, rooms and halls on the grounds of the Stadthalle Braunschweig, the Volkswagen Halle Braunschweig and the Eintracht Stadium (hereinafter referred to as "venue"). The respective organiser and Braunschweiger Verantsaltungsstätten GmbH as the operator shall monitor compliance with the obligations towards event visitors. Only visitors with a valid admission ticket or guests of the organiser are permitted to enter the venue for public events with ticket sales. Visitors must take the seat indicated on the admission ticket for the respective event and only use the entrances provided for this purpose. The admission ticket loses its validity upon leaving the venue. All facilities in the venue must be used with care and respect. Within the venue, everyone must behave in such a way that no one else is harmed, endangered or hindered or inconvenienced more than is unavoidable under the circumstances. Smoking is prohibited. This also applies to the use of e-cigarettes. For safety reasons, the closure of rooms, parts of buildings and open spaces and their evacuation may be ordered. All persons present in the venue and on its grounds must immediately comply with requests from the police or the control and security service and must leave the venue immediately if an evacuation order is issued.
In order to avert danger, visitors are obliged to take seats other than those provided for or noted on their admission ticket - including in other blocks - in accordance with instructions from the police or the control and security service; in such a case, admission fees will not be refunded.
Cloakroom, bag and body checks: For security reasons, the prohibition of carrying bags and rucksacks and the obligation to hand in bags, rucksacks and cloakrooms at the customary local charges may be ordered. If there are no corresponding bans, visitors must expect that bag and body checks will be carried out and that the contents of containers, coats, jackets and capes carried will be checked. Visitors who do not agree to the seizure of objects that could endanger the event or visitors by the admission or security service will be excluded from the event. Rejected visitors are not entitled to a refund of the admission fee.
No liability is accepted for valuables, money, keys in bags, rucksacks or cloakroom items handed in!
Persons who are recognisably under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be excluded from the event and must leave the venue. Rejected visitors are not entitled to a refund of the admission fee.
Young people who have not yet reached the age of 14 may only enter the venue if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Special regulations only apply if expressly posted at the cash desks and admission areas.

Right to one's own image: If photographs, film and/or video recordings are made by employees of the operator, the organiser or commissioned companies in the area of the venue for reporting or advertising purposes, the recording activity may not be obstructed or impaired in any other way.
All persons entering or staying at the venue are informed by these house rules that photographs, film and video recordings may be made in the area of the venue. Recordings of participants and visitors to events may be published without the consent of the person concerned in accordance with the provisions of Section 23 of the German Copyright Act for Works of Fine Art and Photography (KunstUrhG).
Volume at music events: The organiser is obliged to inform visitors if his event may result in sound levels in the audience area that could contribute to permanent hearing damage. To reduce the risk of damage, we particularly recommend the use of hearing protection. At such events, the organiser shall draw attention to the corresponding risks in the entrance area of the venue and provide visitors with earplugs free of charge on request. The regulations according to TA Lärm (protection of the neighbourhood), DGUV V3 (protection of employees), DIN 15905 Part 5 (protection of the public) apply. House bans apply to all current and future events in the venue. A written application with reasons is required for the lifting of the house ban, on which a decision will be made within 3 months.
